At SailBreeze Naka Marine, we tailor our maintenance schedules specifically for vessels operating in tropical conditions. For yachts under 60 feet, our routine services cover scheduled maintenance performed at set intervals (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually).

Maintenance Scope & Checklist

Exterior, Deck & Rigging Care

  • Comprehensive hull and topside washing

  • Cleaning and tightening of lifelines, rails, and bimini/canvas covers

  • Inspection, washing, and ventilation of sails

  • Inspection and servicing of standing/running rigging, spars, winches, and line stoppers

  • Care and treatment of natural teak and synthetic decking

  • Seal inspection for hatches and portholes to prevent leaks

Interior & Domestic Systems

  • Regular ventilation and moisture control throughout the interior

  • Maintenance of plumbing fixtures, freshwater tanks, and pumps

  • Sanitizing and maintenance of blackwater (holding) tanks

  • LPG system and stove checks (including cylinder management)

Engine, Generator & Mechanical Systems

  • Checking, topping up, and replacing motor oils, coolants, and hydraulic fluids

  • Seasonal inspection of engines, transmissions, and sail drives

  • Scheduled engine run-ups and system parameter monitoring (main engine, generator, outboard motors, watermaker, and air conditioning)

  • Steering system and autopilot operational checks

  • Automatic and manual bilge pump testing; monitoring bilge compartments for liquid

Electrical & Navigation Electronics

  • Battery bank health monitoring, cell checks, and scheduled charging

  • Testing electrical circuits, marine electronics, and navigation instruments

  • Inspection of VHF/communication equipment and onboard emergency gear

Haul-Out, Hull & Bottom Care (Yard Operations)

  • Inspection of underwater hull sections for chips, osmotic blisters, or cracks

  • High-pressure cleaning and removal of marine growth from hull, keel, rudders, and running gear

  • Application of premium antifouling bottom paint

  • Hull compound polishing and gelcoat restoration

  • Inspection and replacement of sacrificial zinc anodes

  • Complete safety gear inspection (checking expiration dates on flares, life rafts, and EPIRBs)
