The highly-awaited Pattaya Music Festival 2024 officially began on Friday, March 8th, and here is a brief recap of the festival’s opening night.
Similar to last year, the event started off with Pattaya Mayor Mr. Poramase Ngampiches taking the spotlight to deliver an opening speech. The mayor, in casual attire, said that the festival is open to people of all ages and is expected to generate ‘billions of baht’ in revenue for the city.
On the first night of the festival, popular Thai artists such as Klear, Twopee, Polycat, and F. Hero graced the three stages on Pattaya Beach with their captivating performances and mesmerizing voices. There were also over 500 booths selling local food, drinks, and merchandise.
The opening night of the Pattaya Music Festival attracted an estimated number of hundreds of thousands of Thai and foreign tourists, causing traffic congestion throughout Pattaya City. Beach Road, which was closed to facili
tate the music revelers between 4 PM to 1 AM, became a lively pedestrian street where thousands of people wandered to buy merchandise and danced to the beats.
